UFO
Commander Seven is a die-cast toy line produced by japanese
company Shinsei in 1976. Instead of taking up some known license, Shinsei
decided to base themselves on their original ideas. Their gimmick was
that they made the toys look like they were out of a preexisting series,
giving them a name reminiscent of some anime series and selling with
each toy a small booklet containing a manga. Seven toys were produced,
a flying saucer, two humanoid robots and five armed and wheeled construction
robots. As it is often the case, they were not to scale one to another. |

| THE STORY | ||
The story was that of the sole survivors of planet Mahabaras, doctor Piyuri Hakase, existing only as a brain linked to its spaceship computer and his two robotic friends, the powerful Valcan I and the scholar Brain III. After their world was devastated by alien fiends, they escapes to Earth in the spaceship Blue Silver. There, Hakase, appearing to them on Blue SIlver's screen, alllied himself with three earth kids, the young japanese boy Tetsuo, the african Biri, the blonde girl Karen and Edison, a dolphin genious able to speak. With the help of Valcan, Brain and some other construction robots they had brought along, they set themselves the goal to protect our planet from the aliens who invaded their world and were now threatening ours. There was eight color comic booklets through which the story was told. One was put in each toy's packaging and showcased the related toy. No figures were made of the non mechanical characters. |

Five inches high reprensentation of the three meters tall robotic pilot of the Blue Silver. He has rocket-punches that can transform into either a saw cutter punch or a double rocket punch. The toys comes with different punch piece taht can represent the different transformations

A comical robot scholar capable of transforming into an egg-shaped ball. The toy can display different "emotions" through a roller in the back of the head that make his eyes changed.

| CONSTRUCTION ROBOT JEEK TUNNELLIN (UC-74) | ||

With the ability to dig underground tunnels at great speed, this tank-like vehicular robot has a nasty toothed cylinder drill on the front, a small articulated shovel at the back and two missile launchers. The machine's electronic brain is in the domed glass case. It has the same missile launchers as the Blue Silver, Power Cranger Rock Cutter and Shovel Ripper.

A missile-launcher-festooned steam shovel. The machine's electronic brain is in the domed glass case. It has a head design very similar to the Shovel Ripper. Its threadwheel mechanism is the same as the latter and Rock Cutter.

Another construction pieces with a chainsaw drill, a small shovel and a missile launcher. The machine's electronic brain is in the red domed glass case. It has and the same threadwheel mechanism as the Shovel Ripper. Its threadwheel mechanism is the same as UC-78 and UC-75. It has the same missile launchers as the Jeek Tunnelin, Power Cranger Shovel Ripper and Blue Silver.

Another construction pieces, this amphibious bulldozer has a mechanical arm activated shovel, an articualted rattle at the rearand two missile launchers. The machine's electronic brain is in the domed glass case. It has a head design very similar to the Dozer Bucketter. Its threadwheel mechanism is the same as the latter and Rock Cutter. It has the same missile launchers as the Jeek Tunnelin, Power Cranger, Rock Cutter and Blue Silver.
