Valkyrie

Close Combat Specialist. Very weak in range combat. Second tallest suit, but much larger than the wizard suit, which is the tallest suit. Not bulky as the cleric suit, ‘though. Red. The Warrior is piloted by Ulla Inberg.

Axe: The axe is a standard melee attack, that will work well against most of the enemies. [Cut ropes.]

Ripping Claw: Against heavily armored enemies, most of the attacks won’t do any effect. After striking with the axe, if the player holds down the “A” button, it will open a breach in the armor in which the other attacks will be able to go through. With the first enemies, the breach will stay open, but later ones will have biological armors, which will close the second the claw is released, the Warrior will have to keep the armor opened in order to let the others hit inside with their weapons. Smoke/Gas Grenade: The basic range attack of the Warrior suit is a smoke grenade. The smoke limits the vision of the enemies, and they will most likely try to avoid entering the cloud (thus a good way to block access to an escape route or protect something or someone) and for the smallest and weak enemies, the gas can kill them, for others a little stronger, the gas can incommodate them. It is a good way to slow down or get rid of many weak enemies. But for most of the enemies encountered during the game, the gas will have no effect, only the smoke will be effective. The smoke is also a last resort way to detect invisible enemies, by looking at silhouettes where the smoke don’t go, the players can “see” the invisible enemies. Nevertheless, it is not as effective as the Steam Vision produced by the Wizard suit.

Axe Strike: The most powerful melee attack available to the team, the axe strike is slow but can get rid of very hard enemies in one shot. In fact, some enemies might require an Axe Strike just to be damaged, other melee attacks doing nothing but a scratch. Cutting off regenerative tentacles, for example, and afterward someone will have to burn the stump to prevent it from growing back. [Cut big metal cables]

Ripping systems: Some enemies will be equipped special systems such as Deathray eyes, that might require to be ripped from the creature or machine first before doing anything else. If a creature doesn’t have any systems to be ripped, the Ripping systems will open a large breach into the armor, and in the case of biological regenerative armors, the breach will stay open for a while after being released. Actions examples: Rip out a foolproof locking mechanism (that can be ripped), [Rip out the ray of death eye appendage on tripods]

Concussive grenade: A short range explosive. It explode in a radius, ideal to damage lots of enemies at the same time but is not very effective to pinpoint targets. Can be used to blow up cracked walls, and destroy bridges or pipes. The concussive grenade has also all the effects of the Smoke/Gas Grenade.
