Doctor Fuhreyer is a brilliant surgeon, a very brilliant one, but a bit on the mad side. He remained misunderstood and ended up on a nightshift in a downtown morgue, the kind where nobody wants to have anything to do with the deads brought in. One night, tired and lonely, out of parts from unclaimed bodies, he created himself a son, his name was Henry,...the patched up kid.

Doctor Fuhreyer does not believe in the supernatural, so in no way does he believe Henry about his haunted hand. In no way either will he believe that he often arise ancient evils wherever his curiosity lead him to experiment. For Doctor Fuhreyer likes to wander the sewers too, experimenting on rats, alligators, and entering the museums after hours.
